See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland”- Isaiah 43:19,
Many of you might answer this question by saying “I don’t really know”. Looking at all that is going on in our world, it is very easy to not feel certain about the future but this text from Isaiah reminds us that God is always doing a new thing in our lives if we are open to see it.
What things do you need to see differently in this new season?
It is officially Summer! When I was a child, I loved summer time because I looked forward to family trips, cool Popsicles from the neighborhood market and taking fun summer classes at Mosswood Park in Oakland.
Summer was a time that I always looked forward to because I expected good things to happen.
As we begin the summer, I encourage you to welcome these days with the anticipation of a child; no matter what happened last month, expect God to do a new thing!
