Seeking God, serving the community, supporting each other!

Greetings Concord UMC Family & Friends,

It is Marvelous May!

I am always surprised at how quickly time flies by. I have been enjoying the sunshine and rain that spring brings and was reminded of one of my favorite hymns: “In the bulb there is a flower; in the seed,  an apple tree; In cocoons, a hidden promise; butterflies will soon be free! ( you know I love butterflies) In the snow and cold of winter there’s a spring that waits to be, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.”

In the Hymn of Promise we are urged to stay hopeful. As the seasons change around us, so do the seasons of our lives. Sometimes we may forget that whatever we may be experiencing in the current moment is subject to change.
As children of God, we are promised that hope abounds all around us. Trust God’s promises that something good is on the horizon – even if you cannot see it.

Blessings,

Pastor Marie
